Mr. Youmans
Science Teacher

Russell Youmans. Mr. Youmans has a variety of teaching experience. He has taught physics at the undergraduate level at Virginia Tech, Boston College, Hollins College, and Northern Virginia Community College. On the flip side, Mr. Youmans has taught preschool at the Resurrection Children's Center where his children attended while he was working on his PhD.

Mr. Youmans' teaching philosophy is that all students can learn and they must be treated with respect. He believes one must teach by example, teach with patience, and teach with organization.

Mr. Youmans earned his B.S. in Physics from The College of William and Mary and his M.S. in Physics from San Jose State University. He is currently in the final stage of his Ph.D. in Computational Sciences at George Mason University.
